Online Learning at Bower Park Academy
We are proud to support students with a range of high-quality online learning platforms that enhance learning both in and out of the classroom:
- Microsoft Teams – Our central hub for communication, assignments, and online intervention lessons. Students can access resources, submit work, and stay connected with their teachers.
- Seneca Learning – An engaging revision tool that uses smart quizzes and interactive content to help students retain knowledge across all subjects. All students have access to this using their normal school log ins.
- Sparx – A powerful platform for personalised learning in Maths, Science, and English, offering tailored tasks that adapt to each student’s ability and progress. Students use Sparx reader in their English lessons to develop their reading and comprehension skills. Homework for core subjects is set via the 3 Sparx platforms. Students are able to complete any work in Homework Club which runs after school in NM01.
- Oak National Academy – A free online classroom with thousands of video lessons and resources aligned to the national curriculum, ideal for independent study and catch-up.
